Training in occupational safety and health (BHP) for students enrolled in February 2020 will be held on 5th June at 14:00 in the room #26 (after the laboratory in chemistry). The training is compulsory. Attendance obligatory.
Other students, who did not pass the trainging earlier, are asked to participate.


CLASSES RESUMED AND IMPLEMENTED AT THE FACULTY IN STATIONARY FORM IN THE JUNE - SEPTEMBER 2020.

 Dear students,

in connection with the resumption of classes in the stationary form (in the Faculty building) in the period June - September 2020, which are not possible to carry out remotely (mainly laboratory classes), we would like to inform you that every student is obliged (in accordance with the regulation No. 32/2020 of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology) to submit a declaration of consent to participate in these classes (Annex 1 to the above-mentioned Regulation). The student may also refuse consent for technical or health reasons, which he / she is obliged to inform about by submitting a relevant statement together with justification (Annex 2 to the above-mentioned Regulation). A student who does not agree to participate in full-time classes will be removed from the class lists and will not be entitled to pass them in the current semester. A student who submits a statement of refusal of consent to participate in full-time classes for legitimate reasons will be able to attend them in the next academic year without paying any fees.

In the statement of consent to participate in the classes, please specify all resumed classes applicable to the student in accordance with his program of study. Student participation in selected classes is not anticipated. A student who does not make any statement or omits a subject in the statement of consent will not be able to participate in the classes, and these classes will be considered as not due to the fault of the student.

The statement should be sent via e-mail (from the address in the domain @pw.edu.pl) to the Dean's Office ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) by June 1, 2020. A scan or photo of the signed statement is preferred. If you cannot print, please put the full content of the declaration in an e-mail.

NOTE that when:

- the student is in quarantine and its end falls during the performance of resumed classes, you should inform the Dean's Office and make an appropriate statement about participation in classes that take place after the end of the student's quarantine period. The statement should be accompanied by a scan of documentation confirming the fact of quarantine.

- the student has made a statement of consent to participate in classes conducted at the Faculty and during their implementation he was quarantined or had contact with a person suspected of developing COVID-19 is obliged to immediately notify the person conducting the classes and the Dean's Office of this fact.

Dear Students,
in connection with the gradual restoration of the functioning of the university from 01/06/2020 we would like to inform you that the Dean's Office of WIBHiŚ is resuming limited reception of students. Generally, the Dean's Office will continue to provide services to students in a remote form (via e-mail and telephone). However, in cases requiring the absolute presence of a student in the office, it is possible to report to the Dean's Office in person by appointment (by email or by phone). Meetings will be set for specific days and times to ensure that all precautions are taken and to ensure a sense of security for all. People who do not make an appointment will not be served.


According to the Rector's decision the remote teaching is extended until 29th May. What will happen later, it is not known yet.

In the coming days you will receive information which of the currently teached subjects and forms of education (lectures, exercises, projects) at our Faculty will be able to be implemented during the period of suspension of classes at the Warsaw University of Technology in a remote form. Please include this information in your daily activities and follow the recommendations from academic teachers and coordinators responsible for the implementation of individual subjects.

 5. Students staying during the period of suspension of didactic classes at the Students Dormitories of Warsaw University of Technology are obliged to comply with the regulations in force in individual facilities and the instructions of their staff.

 6.  7. Please remember that the period of suspension of didactic classes at the university should not be treated as free time for students: due to the pandemic announced by the WHO, this is a quarantine period during which travel, mobility and social contacts should be kept to a minimum. Please behave responsibly at this time, not only towards yourself, but also take into account the well-being and health of others who may be more susceptible to the risk of falling ill.

Dear Students,

This is to inform you about recent developments regarding the prevention of potential spreading of COVID-19.

The Polish Authorities have undertaken further steps and decided to introduce more restrictions in order to limit the disease spreading by implementing the state of epidemic emergency. This includes i. a. closing of:

  • cultural institutions (cinemas, theatres, museums, operas, etc.)
  • restaurants, pubs, bars (they will be able to deliver food however) 
  • shopping malls with exceptions of grocery stores, chemist's and pharmacies, banks and ATMs as well as dry cleaners and petrol stations will remain open.
  • gyms, amusement parks as well as other places of mass gatherings

Moreover, international flights and train connections will be suspended from Sunday, March 15th on. If necessary, we also recommend you to remain in touch with embassies/consulates of your countries.

We would like to ensure you that accommodation for the international students (full-time, Erasmus+, bilateral exchange, other exchanges) in WUT dormitories will be provided throughout the entire period of suspending of teaching activities. 

Students are obliged to follow closely safety regulations by staying in their places of accommodation and limiting their contacts with other people to essential minimum. Visits from external guests in student dormitories are prohibited.

Classes suspended because of COVID-19.

In connection with the announced ordinance of the Prime Minister, we would like to inform you that:
1. The classes will be suspended from tomorrow (March 12).
2. The validity of student and doctoral cards will be extended by a separate ordinance of the Minister until May 31, 2020.
3. The libraries are closed.
4. Foreign and domestic trips of employees, PhD students and PW students are suspended.
5. All conferences, events and events organized at the Warsaw University of Technology are canceled.
6. Foreign guests are not allowed to come to the University.

Dear Students, this is an official Rector’s Announcement regarding coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

  1. - International trips and arrivals of students, PhD students and employees are being suspended from today onwards until further notice (regulation by the WUT’s Rector).
  2. - People who have so far  incurred financial liabilities regarding a trip abroad, have to make a decision whether to travel at their own risk. After returning, they should stay home for 2 weeks and work remotely from there. Students are required to stay for 2 weeks in their place of residence and continue education on their own. The deans are obliged to make it possible to make up classes related to the students' absence during this period.
  3. - Employees, students and PhD students returning from private trips from countries with an increased number of COVID-19 cases are obliged to stay home for 2 weeks and work or study there.

How to enrol in Physical Education (PE) courses? - summer semester 2019/2020

Enrolment in Physical Education (Sport) courses in the summer semester will be made electronically using USOSweb.
If you miss the deadline to enrol electronically:
- from Mon, 24 February to Fri, 29 February 2020 students who are not registered in the USOSWeb may do it directly in SWFiS (Waryńskiego 12a Street) at the time of their PE classes (according to the timetable), and enrol in a course of their choice with a teacher on duty (for the places available after enrolment in the USOSWeb)
- from Mon, 2 March 2020 students who are not enrolled in PE courses should go directly to sports facilities and enrol there with a PE teacher.
Students can also receive further information in the SWFiS office between 9.00-13.00 or on www.swfis.pw.edu.pl

In relation to the development of the integrated IT platform of the University (decision no 1/2018 of the rector of Warsaw University of Technology of 3 January 2018 on the centralization of services raising the security of ICT systems by the University of Technology) it became necessary to unify the format of logins in the central systems of Warsaw University of Technology.

Previously used identifier in the form:

Foreign Languages

All first year's students (polish citizens and International students) are obliged to pay a special fee for the Student ID Card (legitymacja)- 22 PLN .

The payment should be made to the individual bank accounts (the account number is given in your USOSWeb profile).


Attention. There are new regulations on studying and registration for:

- MSc graduate studies


Students who have not yet provided the medical certificate stating the absence of contraindications to study are asked to immediately fulfill this obligation.
Referrals to a doctor may be taken from the Dean's Office (room #136). With the referral you should go to the clinic and make an appointment with a doctor of the occupational medicine.

Accounts in USOSweb
You are registered in the USOS system and each of you has an individual account in USOS. In this system are recorded-in your grades and pass of each semester. Now we add a new functionality to the system, which from this semester also applies to students of English taught specialities (BSc Environment Engineering and MSc Environment Protection Engineering). Students of Polish taught specialities have already this functionality for one year.
You must log-in to your account in the USOS and  individually enroll for all courses (subjects) in which you will participate in the upcoming semester. It should be both those courses that are in the curriculum of your current semester, as well as subjects that you did not get to pass last year. The list of courses in current academic year for each semester is published on  Academic year schedule and timetables
After the enrollment you will be automatically entered by the system into the list of participants of each enrolled course.
IMPORTANT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND ONLY THOSE CLASSES WHERE YOU WILL BE ON THE LIST OF PARTICIPANTS. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR ALL SUBJECTS THAT YOU DID NOT PASS LAST YEAR.

But please be aware that for repeating classes you will be charged with an additional fee according to the Rector's Decree. This charge will appear on your individual account in USOS.

Please be advised that payments of tuition fees for studies and for repeated classes should be made on an individual's bank account number. Information on logging into the system can be found on the main site USOSWeb. In case of problems with logging into the system, please contact the Dean's Office (room #136).

Informujemy, iż wszystkie wpłaty z tytułu opłat za studia oraz za powtarzane zajęcia  należy dokonywać na indywidualny numer konta bankowego. Indywidualne numery kont bankowych oraz salda kont są dostępne po zalogowaniu się w systemie USOSWeb w module Dla studentów -> Rozliczenia. Informacje dotyczące logowania do systemu znajdują się na stronie głównej serwisu USOSWeb. W przypadku problemów z logowaniem do systemu, należy zwrócić się do Dziekanatu (pok. #136).
