Info meeting for students accepted in the academic year 2020/2021 for studies in English
On 23 April 2021, International Students Office in cooperation with the Careers Service, the Main Library, the Research Groups Council and our Student Ambassador organised the online info meeting for students accepted for studies at WUT in October 2020 and February 2021.
During the meeting, employees of the International Students Office reminded students about their obligations, rights, formalities after arrival in Poland and academic culture (nostrification, temporary residence registration, health insurance offered by the National Health Fund, work in Poland, contacts with academic teachers and Dean’s Office).
The representatives of the Careers Office Ms Agnieszka Skowrońska and Ms Agnieszka Lasoń-Kurzela told students about the offer of the Careers Office. As a result, a lot of international students signed up for consultations with careers advisors.
Moreover, Ms Monika Gajewska from the Main Library informed students about the library resources, Ms Karina Tomborek briefly explained what the Research Groups Council is and Mr Alejandro Velarde, our Student Ambassador from Mexico, presented the Student Ambassadors Programme.
The participants could also ask questions during the Q&A session.
We are very happy to inform you that about 200 students joined the meeting. We hope to see you online or offline during our future events.
