Announcement for newly admitted students

Dear Students,

We kindly inform you that the Inauguration Ceremony of the 2023/2024 academic year will be held on 02.10.2023 (Monday) at 4.15 pm in the Grand Hall of the Main Building of the Warsaw University of Technology, 1 Polytechnic Square.

Moreover, we would like to inform you that ID cards will be issued on 02.10.2023 (Monday) from 9.00 – 14.00 in the Dean’s Office (room #136, Faculty’s Building).

The prerequisites for the issuance of ID cards are:

1) Electronic submission of the oath, which will be available in USOSweb on 01.10.2023,

2) Payment of the fee for the ID card (PLN 22) – to the student’s individual bank account number, which can be seen in the USOSweb system in the tab FOR STUDENTS/SETTLEMENTS.

On the following days, the issuance of ID cards will be possible according to the reception hours listed on the website: https://is.pw.edu.pl/en/general-information/

Charges for ID cards will be visible in the USOSweb system soon, but payments can be made earlier.

Failure to pay the fee for the ID card by the Septemebr 22 deadline, for technical reasons, may result in the issuance of the card at a later date.

We also remind you to provide a medical certificate. Those who have not brought the certificate so far are asked to bring it on 02.10.2023, when collecting the ID card.
